PTA & WMD $85

Power to Arrest and Weapons of Mass Destruction is the BSIS required course prior to submitting the application for the “Guard Card”

CCW TRAINING

Initial Class:  8 hour class $150.00
(Includes 8 hours of Classroom & Range Time)
Must have prior approval with San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.

Renewal Class: $85.00
(Includes 4 hours Classroom & Range Time

CHEMICAL AGENT $40

Required training for security officers to carry OC / CS / CN while on duty. Class is 2 hours in length and you receive your card same day. This class is not scheduled due to the length of the class. Please contact us; we can make an appointment for you to receive training if time is available on any open schedule day.

BATON CLASS $150

Required training for the BSIS Baton permit. This will be an 8 hour class consisting of classroom instruction and practical instruction with a test to prove proficiencies. Instruction includes liability of Baton usage and laws governing the use of a baton. In most cases upon completion of and proof of a guard registration card student will receive baton permit that same day. Please know it is a Felony to carry a Baton without a BSIS approved Baton Permit and a valid Guard Registration Card. 12020(a) PC.

FAI $150

FAI is the initial course needed to obtain the BSIS “Exposed Carry” firearm permit. What’s included?  8 hours of class room, range time, 100 rounds of ammo, eye & ear protection, target, use of holster & mag. or speed-loader pouch, and the use of one caliber firearm.

Re-Quals / Add Calibers

Re-quals & Add Calibers $50.00 for the first caliber and $40.00 second. $30 for all calibers thereafter. The Cost for additional calibers for the FAI is $45.00 each upon initial shoot; this does not apply to re-quals.
