This class meets the 8 (eight) hour requirement to begin your career in the security industry in California.

Initial Firearms Class (exposed carry)

This class meets the requirement for current guard-card cardholders or current applicants for the guard card to carry an exposed firearm while on duty. This class is 8 hours in the classroom and time on the range.

DOJ firearm eligibility application (FEA) $38.00

Live-scan could be $18.00 to $24.00.

Total estimated cost for BSIS exposed carry firearm permit including training: $344.00.

NOTE: if registering for guard card and firearms at the same time you can save an estimated $71.00 by submitting both applications together.
