Comprehensive Firearms Class

Our comprehensive Firearms Class is designed to provide essential training and a demonstration of proficiency, catering to a diverse audience including security guards, law enforcement personnel, and responsible civilians. This immersive course, spanning approximately 8 hours of in-depth classroom instruction and 4 hours of practical application at a local gun range, provides students with access to SOTC’s own firearms, ensuring you can train effectively even if you don’t yet own a weapon (though specific prerequisites may apply, such as age and legal eligibility for firearm possession in California). For security guards, this training is often a mandatory component for obtaining or maintaining their Exposed Firearm Permit (also known as a Firearm Qualification Card), which is crucial for legally carrying a handgun while on duty and fulfilling their responsibilities effectively and safely.
