BSIS-approved courses every week. See the calendar, pick a date, lock in your seat.
Looking for guard card classes in San Diego, firearm classes, baton classes, CCW training, or CPR certification — all in one place? You're in the right calendar. SOTC runs every BSIS-approved security training course on a published monthly schedule: California guard card classes, AB 2880 Powers to Arrest, firearm and CCW classes, baton and OC pepper spray certification, taser and handcuffing courses, AHA CPR Heartsaver, and live-fire gun range days at Balboa Avenue in San Diego. Our Spring Valley facility is fifteen minutes from downtown San Diego, La Mesa, El Cajon, Chula Vista, and National City — so wherever you are in San Diego County, you can train close to home.
Pick a date below that fits your week and reserve your seat. Most classes start at 10:00 AM and finish the same day, so you walk out with your certificate ready to use. New to security? Start with a guard card class. Already licensed and want a raise? Add a firearm class, baton class, or taser class to qualify for higher-paying armed and specialty posts. Need to renew an expiring permit? Re-qualification dates are on the calendar too. If a date shows By Request, call us and we'll schedule it around you.
We keep class sizes small so every student gets personal attention. If you see a date that works for you, enroll now before it fills up. Call (619) 303-3104 to confirm availability.
