BSIS Permit Required — Legal Carry Only
Duration: Full day (8 hours) | Who it's for: Security guards who want to carry a baton legally on duty in California
Carrying a baton in California as a security guard requires a BSIS baton permit — carrying without it is illegal and puts your license at risk. This course covers everything you need to get that permit: legal authority, defensive deployment techniques, use-of-force law, and how to carry safely and responsibly on the job. You'll finish the day with your completion certificate and the skills to back it up.
